We will all remember back to the wedding year 2022 because many weddings were postponed due to the pandemic in 2020 as well as in 2021. And besides, the number 2022 was very tempting for many couples to get married then. But what does this mean for the year 2023? After all the weddings in such a short time and the many strict restrictions? Wedding Trends 2023 is all about freedom, reinventing your dreams and making it an experience for your guests.
The courage to use color
One of the biggest trends for next year, is bold and unique color palettes. As beautiful as the pastel era was and we still love Greenery Weddings, we’ve gotten a big taste for custom and pop color schemes. Remember, it’s your wedding and anything you like is allowed. So why not think outside the box, and not always stay in the scheme “normality”? We are happy to support you and advise you which color combination harmonize very well with each other and are still bold and unusual. In 2022 we have already had a few courageous bridal couples and would like to motivate you to also take this step.
Cloud
The so-called Clouds are becoming more and more popular, and we also see them as one of the Wedding Trends 2023. We love them, in many different ways. Often used for style shoots, they are not always realistically feasible in all venues and involve high costs and materials. However, if they are feasible and you as a couple would like to put the focus on a cloud, it can be a real eye-catcher for many guests. Especially in venues with high rooms, it can be a beautiful eye-catcher. No matter if made of baby’s breath, dried flowers like pampas or palm leaves, the flowers should be as “light” as possible, because it takes a lot of mass to conjure up such an effect and a cloud of completely fresh flowers with water supply would simply be too heavy and unrealistic. So let the florist advise you what is possible and what is not. If you have questions about this topic, you can also contact us. We will be happy to advise you.
Special wedding backgrounds
Wedding arches were already very popular in 2022, but back then many were still talking about the classic angular arches made of wood or possibly metal. Now these are becoming more and more fancy and individual, be it in the shape or the way they are put. Or be it two skis, a hexagon, a grid of metal, maybe even a large self-painted picture. Or just a woody background – there are no limits to your imagination. An eye-catcher these are in any case. And very popular at weddings as a beautiful eye-catcher as well as a subsequent photo background.
The 80s are back
Major fashion blogs have exchanged ideas with the designer at the London and Barcelona Bridal Week. One thing is clearly in focus, the 80s are not only coming back into the normal closet, but also in bridal fashion they are again more than ever hip and trendy. Whether this is everyone’s / woman’s thing, remains open. Somehow we find the trend pretty cool, how about taking out your mother’s or even grandmother’s wedding dress, customize it and have it re-tailored? So you are sustainable, have an emotional connection to the dress and still go full with the trend. Who has it nevertheless gladly rather somewhat “more modern”, can be pleased likewise, the bridal suit or trouser suit with the brides becomes ever more popular and thus ever more in the bridal fashion stores to buy to be.
Tiny Wedding
As before, sometimes “less is simply more”.
Since the pandemic, small weddings are here to stay. More and more couples are choosing to celebrate on a small scale with their loved ones even in 2023. Don’t forget, the fewer guests, the more you can get out of a small wedding and perhaps make it as visually extravagant as you’d like. The more guests are at the same time bound with bigger expenses and needed space. We love the small intimate weddings as much as the big ones, it should remain individual and tailored exactly to you. We are looking forward to the new year and to realize your dream wedding together with you and the Wedding Trends 2023.
