Maybe you are also in the situation that you can’t decide what kind of concept you want for your wedding. So why not combine a luxurious civil wedding and a romantic garden wedding? Our bride and groom had exactly this dilemma and finally decided on an exciting combination.
Our bride and groom Sanja and Michael, who married this year in summer had a beautiful dinner including overnight stay in a castle-like and noble hotel directly at the lake. They want to have it directly on Lake Lucerne if possible, where the two are also living. In the closest circle of family and friends they enjoyed a first-class dinner directly at the lake. Afterwards, they got married in Cham at the Villa Villette in a wonderful evening atmosphere.
But they also wanted to have a slightly larger wedding in a beautiful old villa with a lake view and garden flair, lots of fairy lights, torches and the possibility to celebrate with the guests until the early morning hours.
We were able to perfectly realize these two wishes on two days directly following each other. Before the civil ceremony they could spend a wonderful evening at the Parkhotel Vitznau, in an elegant and luxurious ambience, with delicate floral decorations in shades of white and the next day could be enjoyed a dreamy summer evening with the closest family including overnight stay.
Especially in the implementation of the second part, we were able to draw from the full range of our creativity. The small villa with a huge private garden and direct view of Lake Lucerne left everything up to us. The bride and groom’s wish was to enjoy a modern outdoor dinner with all their friends in a cozy setting, in an elegant and romantic style.
Those who have been following us for a while know that such a setting, while wonderful, is also one of the most expensive and logistically complex options. In addition, with such options, you always have to keep a bad weather option in mind. But we were very lucky to have perfect weather conditions at this wedding.
The rental furniture, beautiful cutlery, woody chairs, beautiful tables, natural flowers as well as the matching candles, vases, endless tea lights, torches and fairy lights were delivered and set up on the day of the wedding. While the bride and groom and their guests were still enjoying the beautiful brunch at Hotel Vitznau, the Liebesding Team had already started setting up on site so that when the guests and bride and groom arrived, they could already enjoy the elaborate setting.
The whole set up and dismantling in this uninhabited location took a lot of effort, but it was definitely worth it in the end. The setting was a real highlight with large massive wooden tables, matching wooden chairs, a floral decoration in elegant white shades, lots of peonies, matching the white flowers the silver vases and the wood tones, the anthracite colored cutlery and lots of tea lights and candles. We managed to build up a noble garden flair ambience for the bride and groom.
For us the most beautiful thing about the whole wedding was that here we could reconcile a luxurious civil wedding and a romantic garden wedding, and even the flowers and decorations from the night before could be used a second time. Both types of concepts could be combined for one wedding.
