You like it extravagant, different, rustic or a little bit crazy? You want an unconventional wedding, in a place that is especially important to you? No problem. This is also shown by this wedding of Livia & Ueli on the beautiful old wooden bridge last year. They celebrated a free wedding ceremony with their loved ones with very personal and emotional moments.
The construction and decorating over several days became a very special event for them. Together with friends and us as wedding planners, the bridge was decorated according to the wishes of the bridal couple, built up and finally dismantled and cleaned the day after the wedding.
The wedding ceremony was fulfilled with matching dried flowers, a self-knotted macramé curtain, fairy lights, live music and lots of personal stories. This made Livia and Ueli get married in a very different and unconventional way.
During the aperitif on this sunny day in July, the bridge in the background was rebuilt and redecorated by the Liebesding team. A long table over the wooden bridge, hammocks, fairy lights, garlands, many decorations made by the bride herself and cute details were prepared with a lot of love and invited the guests to a cosy atmosphere.
During dinner, suitable background music played while the guests enjoyed the food trucks in the outdoor area. And of course, the groom’s band was allowed to heat up the party.
If you are also interested in an unconventional wedding, we would like to give you a tip. It definitely requires good planning and a bad weather option. It needs people who coordinate everything on site and who are used to organizing such events.
It needs sufficient staff and experience to ensure that everything is clean and tidy around the clock and that the guests always feel comfortable. As simple and relaxed as such weddings may sound, the details and most important points must be well covered so that everything runs smoothly and the bridal couple and guests can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere to the full.
It takes the experience of the person in charge to plan and coordinate all the important points professionally, from the food truck, the toilet facilities, the installation of lights and electricity to the permission to close the venue so that it cannot be used by the public for the time being. The list is almost endless of the important things that need to be taken into account for such a location.
Even though it looks so simple and uncomplicated, there is a lot of planning and work involved to make sure that it will be as casual as planned. If you would like to have such a wedding, we would be happy to help you with the planning and implementation on site. Contact us for a non-binding preliminary talk.
