When you fly an entire wedding party to Switzerland, meet guests who live in Switzerland and have additional guests from other countries, you have an exciting combination of experts and newcomers discovering our country. This is another reason why Nancy and Tian decided to plan their wedding for a whole weekend – a Wedding Weekend in Switzerland. So that all their guests can get to know Switzerland and they have lots of time with their loved ones, whom they can’t always see.
Of course, it was no complete coincidence that the couple chose Switzerland as their wedding weekend location. Tian worked and lived in Switzerland for several years. Some of his family and friends still live here too. Impressed by the wonderful scenery of Switzerland, the lakes and the unique privacy, the couple chose Switzerland.
The Wedding Weekend started with a delicious rehearsal lunch. As many guests had traveled from China and had to deal with jet lag, they decided on a leisurely lunch. On a terrace with a wonderful view of the mountains, the guests got in the mood for a great weekend. A specially made cake was served at lunch to celebrate guests who had celebrated their birthday this month. A fun idea that went down very well with the guests. Immediately after the rehearsal lunch, we met up with the guests involved and the bride and groom to rehearse the ceremony at the venue where the wedding was to take place the next day.
The wedding itself started for the bride and groom in a beautiful hotel right on the lake with a cozy breakfast and styling. The bride and groom were then picked up by an elegant boat and arrived at the wedding venue.
After a free wedding ceremony, a festive tea ceremony and the aperitif, the guests enjoyed a delicious dinner. And of course the party atmosphere was not to be missed. Transportation then took them back to the hotel.
The next day – Sunday – there was a large brunch for the guests, where everyone could once again enjoy the perfect view of the lake. Switzerland really showed its best side this weekend. The guests from abroad will certainly have fond memories of Switzerland.
