The perfect wedding – it’s not just a celebration of love, but also a day when every detail is just perfect, especially the styling. At one of our recent weddings, we focus the styling as a highlight at the wedding. The day was characterized by multiple styling, identity changes and stunning outfits that made the bride and groom shine. In this blog post, we share the details of this unforgettable day.
Taking time for styling: the key to a relaxed wedding day
For many couples, the wedding day begins in a hectic rush – but it’s important to take enough time for styling and start the day calmly. The bride and groom took several hours in the morning to calmly prepare for the big moment. The make-up artists worked meticulously to make every look perfect. Great care was taken to ensure that every look, hairstyle and make-up was designed to make the bride and groom feel comfortable throughout the day.
Change of identity: a creative and emotional process
A special feature of the day was the change of styling from bride to groom and back again. The bride decided to initially appear as “she” during the wedding ceremony, but to switch to “he” for the aperitif. For the couple, this symbolized an expression of diversity and freedom in their identity. For the party, the groom changed back to “she” and thus into a great party outfit. This creative process was not only a fashion highlight, but also a personal and profound form of expression that the guests will remember as one of the most emotional surprises of the day.
Different outfits for the wedding ceremony, aperitif & dinner and party
The wedding was divided into three sections, each of which was accompanied by a new outfit and styling for the bride and groom. An elegant, traditional wedding dress was chosen for the ceremony. The aperitif offered space for a more casual yet stylish outfit – perfect for enjoying the first congratulations in a relaxed atmosphere. For the grand finale, both changed into a cool party outfit. Each of these outfits was not only a fashion choice, but also a careful staging that emphasized the mood of each part of the program.
What do the guests do while the bride and groom are getting their makeover?
When the bride and groom disappear for a while to get styled for the next part of the day, the question can arise: “What are the guests doing during this time?” At this wedding, we had organized various activities to make creative use of the time and give the guests an unforgettable day. During the aperitif, guests were able to help themselves to an ice cream cart and relax on deckchairs in the sun while listening to live music. These breaks were deliberately designed as relaxed transitions that offered guests space for conversation and relaxation.
Conclusion: styling at the center of a successful wedding day
This wedding impressively demonstrated how important styling can be as part of the whole day. From the personal identity changes to the different outfits for the various program points – the bride and groom’s look took center stage without the day losing any of its lightness. Well-planned breaks for the makeover, combined with lovingly designed activities for the guests, made the day a well-rounded and stylish celebration.
