The idea with this bridal couple was that we would support them with coaching on an hourly basis, but that they would take on the majority of the tasks and planning themselves. In this blog, you can find out which tasks we actually took on in the end and how we went from wedding coaching to the overall planning.
It is not uncommon for us to meet bridal couples at our first meetings who intend to take on a large part of the wedding planning themselves, but would like to book us as support for individual areas. This also suits us perfectly – there are no fixed packages with us, we do whatever the bride and groom want. Jessica and Loris had very clear ideas about how they wanted their wedding to be, what style they wanted and which tasks they wanted to do themselves – they had already booked the venue and some service providers or at least had them in mind.
However, like many other bridal couples, Jessica and Loris are very busy at work. Sometimes they don’t have the time or leisure to devote themselves to wedding planning. Some bridal couples simply underestimate the effort involved or suddenly find themselves under time pressure due to private or professional events. In the course of the planning process with Jessica and Loris, we were able to take on more and more tasks. The first task was to put the bride and groom’s exact ideas regarding the style of the wedding on paper and to plan the implementation. The fact that vintage, urban and meadow flowers go together is perhaps not immediately obvious. But it’s a great match – But it’s a great match – as you can see here:
For Jessica and Loris, we were also booked for the wedding day management – in other words, the coordination on the day of the wedding. Our tasks here included coordinating the service providers, ensuring that the schedule was adhered to and setting up the venue. Hanging up fairy lights, moving tables and chairs, placing flowers and candles – we do (almost 😉) everything. And dismantle it again after the wedding.
Fun fact about this wedding: we didn’t just meet the bride and groom during the dismantling and were able to talk to them about their wonderful wedding. No, we were also able to say goodbye to the last guests at 7.00 a.m. during the dismantling on site! 😀
Individual areas, we were allowed to take on more and more tasks, so that in the end we were almost able to plan the entire wedding – always in consultation with the bridal couple, of course. They had very specific ideas regarding the choice of service providers. With Jessica and Loris, we have a perfect example of how “joint planning” with the bride and groom can work. Some suggestions for service providers came from the bride and groom, we made inquiries. We suggested other service providers. Important: The final decision is always made by the bride and groom. The couple’s cool style was not only reflected in the design, but also in the choice of service providers.
If you book us as wedding planners, it is not mandatory that we take over the entire planning of the wedding. We are happy to advise you as part of a wedding coaching session with individual hours as required. Or you can book us for a last-minute check or a workshop in which we address the most important wedding planning topics. Of course, you can also decide during the process that we should take on additional tasks. The important thing is that it’s right for you as the bride and groom – as it was for Jessica and Loris:
«Die Zusammenarbeit mit Liebesding war hervorragend. Das Team ist kreativ, einfühlsam und sehr engagiert. Wir hätten uns keine besseren Weddingplanner wünschen können.»
Dear Jessica, dear Loris – it was a pleasure to accompany you in the planning and realization of your wedding. Stylish from A-Z, individual, warm and friendly – that’s exactly how we love it! We wish you all the best!
