Even though these styles are still very popular, we wanted to show you with this style shooting how you will find your own wedding style and how awesome different can be. If you love to be different and still not completely disregard the trend, definitely go minimalist in 2022/2023 with elements like concrete, industrial design or leather – just different is the new motto.
Industrial style inspires brides and grooms all over the world. But what can you imagine under it? We are happy to give you an insight! This style shoot is the perfect combination of romance and elegant industrial style.
The perfect venue for the industrial look
Your wedding style should be set in an unusual industrial-style wedding venue, such as an old industrial hall, an abandoned factory building, a gallery or an empty loft? A combination of modern and lived-in architecture?
Important details to pull off the elegant industrial style is the matching look of the flower and furniture selection. Here, too, the simplicity is convincing. Much in the same colors complements well with the “cool and modern” venue. Perfectly coordinated details with purist accents.
If that’s too boring, feel free to go to an extreme with the flower and decoration selection, such as a bright pink/orange. This color combination is also a perfect contrast to “cold” concrete walls. Or you can score points in the decoration with floral highlights like this white cloud.
In addition, very plain and simple cutlery, chairs and tables. But the right accents set with many modern candles.
The perfect wedding dress
For this shoot we chose a very loose dress with crop top. Such a beautiful dress can be worn again even after the wedding, in the summer or on the beach and does not have to be stowed away in the closet forever. We love this loose light casual look from Greece. And in the summer the perfect solution in warm temperatures.
Round out this look, with cool sunglasses, a leather or denim jacket, white sneakers or your favorite boots. Comfortable it should be, so you can dance the whole evening through. A natural fresh make-up and loosely pinned hair complete the look perfectly. Who likes and dares, can still set a few accents with a bright lipstick, for example, in pink.
The stationery
To make everything consistent and get a line in the design, we would definitely recommend you to also implement the stationery in the same concept or colors in your own wedding style. We chose a very modern style of stationery for the shoot, with cut outs and colors to match the venue and all the decor.
The bride and groom shooting
We are big fans of the so-called “first look shooting”. What do you think of the idea to do this not in the green on a meadow in the middle of nature, but simply in the middle of the city? We never thought that a simple zebra stripe could have such a cool effect on the pictures.

The right cake
Of course, the cake should also be designed to match the whole look. Here we opted for a concrete look. Two advantages for a cake like this: it definitely looks super great and these cakes don’t have unnecessary sugar coating that hardly anyone likes to eat anyway! To keep it elegant, this cake was designed with gold leaf and a modern cake topper. We love it!
And we think if you choose such a beautiful cake, be sure to cut it on the day! Then it is still bright, much better pictures are taken and the guests are still hungry enough for something sweet.
And another idea: why not just put the cake in the spotlight a little and include it in the decoration? If the day is not too hot, the cake can also be put on show a little, the guests love it and will definitely capture your cake on the pictures.
